My opinion about the Paris terrorist attack

In my life, whenever there's breaking news going on, it happened on my home country, the United States of America. International news that doesn't relate to America, I believe...if I not mistaken, rarely given breaking news time...except for the Pope and the July 7th, 2005 attacks on London (the day after it was given the city for Olympics 2012).

Recently there have been international coverage that has nothing to do with America. Last year, we got Malaysia Airlines lost two planes. One got lost air control and slammed to the sea, the other got destroyed by an airstrike. We also have AirAisa airplane lost at the sea as well, but some people managed to get recovery...maybe. There also war between Israel and Gaza. And terrorist people kidnapping hundreds of girls in Nigeria. And pretty that's much about it.

In the past couple of days though, there is a shooting at the Charlie Hebdo building in Paris, France, which they called it a "terrorist attack". Now, there are other 'terrorist attacks' that involve shooting, but I wondered why shooting be considered as a terrorist attack? I always thought terrorist attack involves bombs, explosions, among other things. Why shooting also a terrorist attack? I think that shooting is concerned like a tragedy or a massacre, I don't think - to myself apparently - that shooting could also be a terrorist attack too, because terrorist attacks means destruction of something right?

Anyway, yesterday, there have been confirmation that the suspects have been either killed or left unharmed...right around eleven o'clock in the morning eastern time, that's where the American broadcast networks covered the story for (surprisingly*) about an hour; I can hear George Stepanopoulos talking from my apartment room so I knew there was a "Special Report" going on. But I didn't attempt to look at it, didn't attempt to pay attention at it. I simply went to TVNewser's site at around 11:30am just to look at the page for how the news handle the special coverage.

*I thought this hostage coverage in America will go on for hours just like the the live news story of Boston police, who for the entire day and night, trying to find a person who placed a bomb at the Marathon on April 2013. While the hostage, I believe some reports say, lasted for over seven hours in Paris, the American news coverage had lasted....for over an hour, believed to be at or around the very end of it.

So I believe that after the terror ended in Paris, United States (or maybe United Nations) issue a worldwide travel alert, or a worldwide terror alert, in which the American people have to stay alert for terror attacks. (While the manhunt is finish, the threat isn't over for France as what the French president said) But I might believe that America will get through this, even though I don't believe what the FBI investigate about the Sony Pictures hack.
