My new year resolution...sort of

Okay I'm going to stick this blog even longer...maybe. I maybe planning to write every single day from the new year on. I won't procrastinate. I won't waste time. I won't daydream. I won't get off-guard. And I won't be off-task. I'm gonna focus on what I'm doing, what I'm planing to do, and what I'm going to do. Since I brought a new camera and colored pencils, I planned a few major ones.

Working a new e-novel; New pictures of myself added!

Right now, I'm back working a new e-novel, "How To Find The Right Best Friend" (working title), since Christmas Eve Wednesday and I've been very productive since then. I start writing on the computer yesterday after only a few days on my laptop. I found out that writing on a computer keyboard is much easier and faster than a laptop keyboard. But apparently, I fell into procrastination...again.

Anyway as I previous mentioned in my Christmas Day post, I got a new camera. It's called Canon PowerShot SX400 IS. That day, I taken a few photos for testing. Today, I have taken more pictures of myself in an apartment room above the text and after the jump. Unfortunately...I have my beard on but I can't shave for obvious reasons.

Construction work on a college road; taken on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving

Before I got a new camera, I did take a couple of pictures out of my old digital camera, which was actually on low in power since I take unnecessary pictures in 2011 and that AA batteries can no longer power it enough.

The following pictures that I uploaded were taken on a construction road, which is around the Montgomery College Silver Spring campus. The construction workers were working on fixing the road. They were taken on a day-off that day. The pictures were taken on the Tuesday before Thanksgiving, Tuesday, November 25th.

I don't know if it's okay for me to post those photos, but that's okay. As long as until the construction workers ask me to remove them.

New pictures tested out from my new camera; Merry Christmas

© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
Back in my Christmas Eve post, I said the only thing I wanted for Christmas - even though I'm now an adult - is colored pencils to draw great book covers that can help sell books or ebooks online and a better photo camera that doesn't rely on regular AA batteries.

And yesterday, I finally got what it wanted. No Santa Claus inst here. I didn't even tell him what I want.

My Obvious Research of Men and Feminism

It's been less than a month researching Men and Feminism. Unfortunately for me, I can't buy recent books from online. But even that, after reading several articles, I decided that I came to a conclusion that...there's actually no role for men in Feminism.

Okay maybe not.

Feminism means equal rights to both men and women and while feminism is not about hating men, I came to believe that there's actually no role for men in feminism, even though I haven't read the books.

The Men in Feminism book by Alice Jardine and Paul Smith is really hard to understand because to me it's really outdated.

I'm no longer in the mode for listening to Christmas songs

I'm an adult and I'm not interested in Christmas. Okay to be clarify, I do celebrate Christmas but if I have money and got everything that I want, I don't even need Santa Claus or anybody else to get what I want for Christmas. If anybody ask me what do I want for Christmas right now, I would say nothing.

Okay actually this year I only want colored pencils to draw book covers that will make sense for me to sell books or e-books online, and a new digital camera...to post more pictures.

Now to be honest, while I'll do celebrate that kind of a holiday, I'm no longer in the mode for listening Christmas songs since 2011 (nor watching holiday specials since 2006). I was planing to listen to a full month of Christmas again back in 2009, but then another virus infection led to a complete re-installation of my computer in early-mid December; I was instead listening to Selena Gomez songs, particularly "Naturally", which is nice to take break from the Christmas genre.

Even though I listen to Christmas songs again in 2010, the message from the following year is that I don't even have to listen Christmas songs over and over again. And that proves it in 2011 after a year of listening complementary adult pop music, such as Rhianna, Taio Cruiz, Pitbull, among other things as well as other ones such as "Take on Me" from A-Ha.

So today, even though it's the holidays, I still listen to regular music.

I ate three sweets three days apart

In the last couple of days, I eat sweats that I either brought or got in their exact weeks before I eat it

First is the Big Texas Cinnamon Roll, which I brought on Thursday, December 11th (a few days before I got a serious sore throat) from a vender machine on the Student Service Center building at the Montgomery College Silver Spring campus. I ate almost a week ago, Wednesday, December 17th.

Second is the Twix chocolate bar that I brought from the ShopRite grocery store on Friday (the same day I got a sore throat would last a week). I eat it in the following Saturday, which is December 20th
Twix chocolate bar
I'm sorry the pictures are blurry, but it's also has to do with batteries*
and also the entire camera.
(*this camera uses regular AA batteries instead of its own cartridge battery)

The third one is a leftover chocolate cake (I didn't a take a photo for some reason). A cake that was brought over on December 11th (the same day I got an aforementioned cinnamon roll), I eat two pieces the following day. Usually, everyone - including me - would eat the cake off, just all of us would drink orange juice or a big bottle of soda off. There was an leftover cake, but I wasn't actually gonna eat it, until I heard that my family member left it for me.

So I was planning to eat all sweets one by one in one night after dinner as usually do with two packs of honey buns, but instead I eat one sweet per day, which is unusual for me.

The Fallout over "The Interview" and the Misinfomation About North Korea

Though I may not like the movie, I do like the logo
© Sony Pictures Entertainment

Writer's Note: I'm currently not checking updates for when and where will "The Interview" will be released...or whether North Korea is the real hacker...because this will take a few days or weeks to answer it...and I needed a break from this; It's increasing becoming a distraction to me.

Please note that almost all links open with a new window.

Alright time for me to write the fallout over "The Interview". If you missed the beginning of it, click here.

Just 24 hours after Sony Pictures' cancellation of the Christmas Day theatrical release of "The Interview", which I'm actually not interesting in seeing it, the press - after reporting tons of private information because Sony Pictures is a Hollywood studio - suddenly realized that this hack is very serious. Some people like the people in the MPAA suggests that the press should be focusing on who hacked the Hollywood studio.

When the WikiLeaks happen or Edward Snowden leaks happen, the press only focusing who's responsible and what will the country do to take action. They didn't gossip about the leaks

Okay while that sounds like a lesson, in the sensitive nature of the Sony, I think a better lesson is: Be careful...what you report or gossip in the news. Because when you report hacks like these, the hackers will read them and follow in their footsteps. And therefore, you're a journalist helping the hackers. And that's what Aaron Sorkin blamed the media for the cancellation of "The Interview".

The Beginning of a Fallout Over "The Interview"....and Sony Pictures

Writer's Note: I was originally title this post "The Confusion and Frustration Over "The Interview", but I felt that this post didn't fit the title so I figured that I changed it. Please note: Almost all links are open in a new window.

Okay, I didn't pay attention to movies that much since...gosh I don't know, September 2013. I was locked in a room. Slightly locked. No punishment or anything, just don't want to get distractions. And this holiday season, I didn't pay attention that much on which movie will be released...like "Annie" released this weekend. Or the final chapter of "The Hobbit", which I believed it released on December 12th. Or a new "Night at the Museum" movie (I don't know what that squeal is called and I don't want to look it up)...which is release...well I don't know. Maybe the movie is competing with "Annie", I don't know.
© Columbia Tristar Movie Group

But I focused on one movie that is the talk of a nation.

Okay I'm not a fan of Seth Rogen...because they're too gross. But I like him. I think there's one Seth Rogen film that I know mostly and that is "The Guilt Trip" which also stared Babara Streisand. I know James Franco from the Sam Raimi Spider-Man trilogy. But I first heard his name when I was watching the CinemaSins videos; I was never a fan of the Spider-Man films nor the superhero genre as a kid. Nor I didn't watch any of them. But since I'm writing this, I have to kudos to him for his best performance as Harry.

However I'm not quite interested in seeing "The Interview" because it's...gross (I even see a just-now deleted tweet containing bathroom humor, which disgust me), though I wanted to see if any movie theater to reserve a decision or if any online store, cable company, video retailer, or a video-on-demand provider willing to STEP UP!

Part 3: I have a sinus infection...both from my throat and my nose

This is not an ant. Not an incest or a small bug. This is - and I can't believe I'm saying this - a booger
A dead booger. And no I'm not kidding; a booger from a sinus infection.
By the way this is taken on a bathroom by a Cannon digital camera.
© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
You know what actually, I have written part 3 already. But I didn't talk about the nose. Yes I have a sudden strange nosebleed since Sunday night. And it continues for two more days. Wednesday I found an article on how to stop a nosebleed. So I follow the instructions: I pinch my nose and hold it for about ten minute. Did it work? Maybe.

Nevertheless, despite believing that my sore throat will calm down after taking another two tablets, I was unfortunately told to come to the doctor's office with my mom. When the doctor sees my nose, he didn't say 'something's wrong with you nose did you notice it?' like I expected. There were no gaps in the room. No, he said 'yep, he has a sinus infection through his throat and nose'. And there was no shock whatsoever. My mom knows this.

As a result, I have to take a different kind of tablet. But only once...for the night...after I eat pizza; I have to take that kind of tablet twice...after I eat. In the morning and in the evening. Yes progress is going, but next time I will try to be careful not to be sick.

P.S. I was about to upload the pictures of blood from my nose on the tissue, but I decided against due to Blogger's terms of use.

Part 2 of my 2nd sore throat experience this year - Saturday and Snday

Okay here's part 2 of my second experience..with my sore throat. If you haven't read Part 1, click here. Otherwise...well you can read the rest of what I wrote.

Saturday, December 13th, 2014, I woke up with a sore throat. *sigh* Shouldn't drink two glasses of cold water before I go to bed the preceding night. That morning, me and my family go out to a IHOP restaurant for breakfast. I was not excited that we have to go out for a casual dinner for a birthday; we've been doing that for years.

Anyway, back to the situation, in attempt to soften the sore throat, I try my best to zip my winter jacket up to my neck over my vest. And I have it on for the most of the time. Despite this, unfortunately it doesn't help. So when we came home in the early evening, I took two tablets to sallow with water. I also have a cup to spit in.

Be prepared if you going to take an exam someplace else

© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
Okay can I talk about what happened when I came into the Assessment Center (at the Student Service Center building of the Montgomery College Silver Spring campus) to take my final exam?

On Thursday, December 11th 2014, like I said in a few previous posts, I have a Computer Management exam been given in the Assessment Center (because it was in my college obligations) so I have to immediately go there. I came here about ten minutes before 8:30am - the time that Assessment Center opens - and I was the only one there at the time. By the time it opens, there were only three to four people in line. I was in first.

Story of my 2nd sore throat for the 2nd time of this year - Thursday 12/11/2014 and Friday 12/12/2014

Editor's Note: I was supposed to be writing my sore throat story two days ago, but I was once again procrastinating.

It all started on Thursday (12/11/2014), I was walking around the Montgomery College Silver Spring campus buildings as usual. And yes it is winter. My nose is running. Sometimes when it's like that, I take out napkins from bag or go inside the Student Service Center to get napkins and wipe off the sinus of my nose.

And usual on regular college days for this semester, I went to the Mathematics Pavilion - where I attend my Critical Reading Skills II class - whose air moisture calms down the nose.

But over the past two weeks, it's actually exam week...and I have a Computer Management exam been given in the Assessment Center (because it was in my college obligations) so I have to immediately go there. And when I came in, my nose is actually still running. While the Assement Center does have temperature, it wasn't enough to calm down my nose. So I had decided that I had enough and ask one of the administrators to get napkins to blow my nose.

(VERY SHORT POST) An Update on my sore throat .... and there's something about my nose

Okay I have to apologize for being absent yesterday. But I'm giving you guys an update on my sore throat. No, my sore throat - and apparently my nose, since it got into the sinus infection - wasn't getting better from last Monday. And unfortunately today, I went for a doctor. More on that in the next days.

Just to let you guys know that this is my second time that I experience this. My first time happened after my birthday. I have written it in one of my other blogs but I would rather retell it than putting a hyperlink in there.

Monday, December 15, 2014

Hopefully my sore throat will go away tomorrow...I believe

As I'm writing this, I just taken a third round of two tablets of Tylenol Extra Strength to smoothing my sore throat. It's painful. It's the third day that I have a sore throat. Yesterday, I was trying to make things better by trying not to sallow, but I failed because I can't control my body. I did try not to sallow...by walking in the night.

I realized that besides taking very few rounds of two tablets, the other step for me to stop the sore throat is to not lie on the bed on my back. Overnight, my throat was actually better. At that point, I was thinking is this a dream or it's my throat is actually getting better.

(SHORT POST) writing "How To Find The Right Best Friend" since last night

Last night I put the Mrakunski Material (which turns out to be hard to write) aside and start working story that I think it might be easy. The document has the working title of "How To Find The Right Best Friend".

It's about a teenage boy - who has no interest of sports nor video games - trying to find the right best friend.

No release date has been given yet.

Saturday, December 13, 2014

Putting the Mrakunski Material aside and start writing "How To Find The Right Best Friend"

Right now, I was supposed to write the Mrakunski Material all the way till late-January 2015. However I decided to put it aside - because even though I love to write action-oriented stories, it wasn't who I am - and write another story with the working title of "How To Find The Right Best Friend".

Yesterday, I finish for the semester and get back on to writing

© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
Alright I'm back. So yesterday is the Computer Management exam (it's actually Computer Use and Management) and it was shorter than the English exam. I finish the English exam at almost eleven o'clock and it was for two hours. This exam, I finished it one hour earlier (ten o'clock) because it was shorter.

Thursday, December 11, 2014

VERY SHORT POST: I'm back on the Mrakunski Material

Hello. Right now I'm come back home and I'm back working on the Mrakunski Material. Like I said, I'm going to be writing the Material through late-January 2015. I'm going to be back on this blog tomorrow.

Wednesday, December 10, 2014

I'll be back writing the Mrakunski Material tomorrow if I can

© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
Hello. Right now I'm studying for my next exam, which is my Computer Management exam. That's tomorrow. When I come back home after finishing my test, I will try to go back into writing the Mrakunski Material and I'll be writing it through late-January of next year.

Today I ate pepperoni pizza at eleven in the morning

© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
Okay usually when I was eating lunch at the cafe of a Montgomery College campus building, I was eating two packs of Cheetos, two cookies and tall Pepsi cup of orange soda.

That was around ten o'clock. The cafe didn't serve lunch until eleven - the time my Computer Management class starts - sometimes early as 10:30.

Today it's actually day 2 of exam week here in college but this my first day taking an exam, an English exam. I only have two exams (I only have two classes this semester).

Monday, December 8, 2014

You know what there's not going to be a post today so I'll be back tomorrow.

A Lesson: Carry the milkshake while wearing one glove off (sometimes it may be hard)

As I'm writing this, I thinking to myself should I write this...like now. Because a few minutes ago, I was walking home with my family member when the milkshake in a McDonalds' paper bag slipped out of the bag and spilled on the sidewalk.

I do aplogize to my sister (the milkshake is for her; she also wanted a sandwhich) but what was I thinking?

First of all, when  me and my family member went back to the car after exited at a fast-food restaurant, the paper bag got torn slightly; my family member is holding it. I take the paper bag from him as usual to carry home, unaware of the slipperiness of the bag.

When my family member drop him off...yeah this on happens.

Let this be a lesson to you all if want to McDonalds to go: if you want a milkshake, carry it with you hand that doesn't covered with a glove. The milkshake and the sandwich were put in the paper bag together as usual when we eat at this fast-food restaurant, but never like this.

What I had for lunch at college so far

That's my two packs of Cheetos, two sugar cookies and a tall drink of an orange soda.
© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
Okay can I talk about what I had lunch so far in college?

Okay personally, I don't originally want to eat lunch because I'm not hungry or not interested. But because my family members believe that I'm gonna starve, I just went reluctant and had given some money from them.

So I obviously eat lunch at around ten o'clock in the morning. The reason I said obviously is because the cafe in the Montgomery College Student Service Center building in Silver Spring, MD serves lunch (at eleven o'clock) at the same time as my next class, which is my Computer Management class.

Still researching Men and Feminism; study for a test

© 2014 Malcolm Franokuski
Well hello there. Well I'm still researching Men and Feminism online but I also found to a lesser extant that pro-feminism may be the nearest discovery to my research. I may look back to the e-book that I found last night, even though it might be boring or outdated.

Friday, December 5, 2014

I found a book, titled Men in Feminism, but I don't know if I can read much longer

Hello, I've been researching Men and Feminism about much of the day. I found an e-book that is over two hundred pages. However as I read some of the pages, I started to feel like this book is just plain boring or maybe outdated. The title is actually called "Men in Feminism". Maybe it's me, but this e-book was first published in print over two decades ago. Maybe I could read those pages again and try to read much of the e-book to try understand it. If not...oh well.

I'll continue writing the Material today

Today I'll be contining writing the Material from last Sunday. The Material, which is currently untitled, may be an action-mystery novel about a fourteen-year-old teenage boy who's on a quest to find the person who sended him a strange email.

The Material will have unconventional elements; I can't tell you what it is because I haven't write it that much and I'm not sure if this means no romance at all because romance is a conventional element in not only young-adult novels but also teen films and TV shows as well.

Tuesday, December 2, 2014

I'll continue to write the Material tomorrow

Okay let me explain some things. I haven't blogging for a while because of other things. I can't tell you what other things are because it's not that interesting. However I will talk about what's coming tomorrow.

Tomorrow I'll try to continue writing the Material (no official title yet). The last time is last Sunday. This document has only ten pages so far.

Monday, December 1, 2014

I have to apologize for not blogging yesterday. I forgot to blog yesterday. I started to feel like I might take a hiatus from the blog sometime this week.

Saturday, November 29, 2014

VERY SHORT POST: Can't Blog right now

Right now I'm currently in the mode for writing a story since last night. As a result, I won't be blogging tonight. However I will blog about the story progress tomorrow.

Friday, November 28, 2014

VERY SHORT POST: started writing that evening

So this evening, I started writing very few pages on a somewhat action-mystery novel. It doesn't have a title yet but I believe that I write through the middle of January.

Thursday, November 27, 2014

Men and Feminism (Part 2; Short Post)

You know I have been researching men and feminism since Monday. Maybe the reason is that I'm trying to think a new teen novel series to write that may be different than any other teenage series, whether on books or on TV or on the movies.

Wednesday, November 26, 2014

I'll write a story on paper tomorrow

Do you saw pictures of me in my previous post? I do apologize for the picture quality. I take them on a sensitive webcam that is inside my laptop.

Anyway I have blank printer papers that I was going to write a story on with a pencil yesterday. but I decided to write it tomorrow. I will talk about it tomorrow.

Reasearching Men and Feminism

I was researching men and feminism on the internet - I google terms like 'male empowerment', 'boy empowerment' and 'men and feminism' - and found several results indicate that men should embrace feminism...by not only supporting women's rights and female empowerment but also gender equity. While I believe that women is better (or should be better) then men, I found out that it's best for both men and women to be treated equally. And I think so too.

I think that if women should talk about their rights, then they should talk about men's rights and male empowerment as well. And I think that we, as men, should be talking  But unfortunately - and apparently I have to say that word because of today's society changes - like this article here, we're on a male dominated society. That means that feminist only focus on women empowerment. They also believe that men have all of the power and they control women, which is unfortunately true.

Story ideas popping up in my head while I was walking downtown Washington D.C.

As I went into Washington, D.C. every Sunday (as usual since April; back then walking in D.C. isn't an usual thing to me) every time I went walking downtown with my sister and dad, I always keep thinking of a teenage show. A different teenage show, mainly around male. One of them in particular has a great title, I don't know what it would be. Now this evening - it was actually night - as I was walking down the sidewalk that heads towards the Lincoln Memorial, I come up with two possible ideas.

I can't tell you what my ideas are or what the title is going to be because of private reasons. I may reveal them if I have to.

Saturday, November 22, 2014

Once again, I don't feel like blogging today. Maybe tomorrow.

Friday, November 21, 2014

Today, I may going to do English homework early for the first time and also do the online theory test that was given from my computer management class.

Hopefully I may do them early so I don't usually wait until the last minute or don't forget like the last time I did with the first test.

Thursday, November 20, 2014

I might do homework tomorrow for the first time...and also do an online test

Listen, I have a bunch of stuff that are overwhelming to me. Not only I have to do English homework, but also I have an online theory test to do from my computer management class.

Actually I have a second online theory test to do; I missed the first test. The day after it's due, when I discovered that I forgot to do the test, I panicked for less than a half-hour and then try to calm myself down and thinking what will happen next?

Wednesday, November 19, 2014

Procrastination takes over me today.

So yesterday, I made a promise that I won't be procrastinating and I'll be writing stories through the day. Today, I broke it. There's reasons why:

Tuesday, November 18, 2014

Supposed to be writing a slice-of-life document; ended up writing a female action eBook

Last night, I was planing to write a somewhat slice-of-life document to see if I form a story. I'm trying to create my own genre and I planing featured teenage boys because it's something that...I want to see.

But then I came at about 2:16pm from a metro taxi (almost or over an half-hour late) and I immediately washing dishes after (because I wasn't feeling like washing them last night; I was unfortunately a slacker, more on that in later posts), then become a choice between writing a 'somewhat'* slice-of-life document or a butt-kicking female action eBook. And then three o'clock came, and I immediately choose the latter.

Monday, November 17, 2014

This afternoon, I was thinking what I'm going to write for tomorrow and it probably is an action story. It's wasn't the same idea as it was on my previous post, but I'm gonna write it tomorrow.

Listening to some music, inspired to create a story and a title that starts with a 'the'

You know, for some reason. I can’t seem to write anything. It is because of procrastination. Maybe I was still…looking at Wikipedia, listening to music.

Okay last night, I listen to two instrumental orchestra songs from “The Amazing Spider-Man 2” (which I didn't watch and many people say it’s not the best movie): “I Need to Know” and “Sum Total”. At the same time, I saw a picture of a ferries wheel on TV when the Xfinity X1 platform system showing a screensaver (which happens when either you idle on the xfinity menu/section for too long or you pausing an episode/movie for too long).

A Lesson About NASCAR...sort of

Editor’s Note: Um…this is actually a lesson about NASCAR for people who wanted to be a race car driver, which is off-topic on my site. Originally I intended to write why you shouldn't be a race car driver to impress a girl (in the case of Transformers: Age of Extinction) but instead I ended up writing…what you’re about to read about. But I want to post this anyway. Maybe I can write in-topic tomorrow.

"The Carmine Case: The Unfinished Edition" is available online on Scribd

Although I delay the 'final' version of eBook, I decided to publish the unfinished version of "The Carmine Case" on Scribd. I want to publish it online at this due date, even though I didn't have the time to finish the eBook.

The actual - and final - version of eBook will be released on an unspecific date on 2015.

Shane Dyson: The Boyfriend That Shouldn't Be In "Transformers: Age of Extinction"

Let’s talk about Jack Reynor’s character, Shane Dyson. Now Ehren Kruger made this character an average man. A man who loves to drive race cares. That character is unrelated to me and I'm going to talk about it.

Tessa (played by Nicola Peltz)
© 2014 Paramount
Ehren Kruger obviously made this character a boyfriend of Tessa (a daughter of Mark Walberg’s character) so that the movie can still have male appeal. You know why can’t Kruger and director Michael Bay (or even producers Ian Bryce and Lorenzo di Bonaventura) make Tessa a butt-kicking chick rather than a sex object. That way, the movie wouldn't focus on the stinkin relationship between Jack Reynor and Mark Wahlberg’s characters.

Speaking of a stinkin’ relationship. *pause* Yeah, the paring of Shane Dyson and Cade Yeager is REALLY awful. The reason why Shane’s boyfriend and also Cade’s daughter has been kidnapped, the reason why this stupid movie focus on the stinkin’ relationship between Shane and Cade is to make this movie with male appeal.

I’m not a fan of the Transformers series or the action genre at all. But honesty, could Mr. Kruger (once again the screenwriter) or Mr. Bay (I think he’s the worst director of all) actually put Cade in danger instead. That way Tessa could be a butt-kicking chick and could team-up with his boyfriend to rescue her father as possible.

Second of all, I know Shane Dyson is a race car driver. But I got to be honest, he is no good at driving backwards when flying cars dropped from the sky.

Also, why Ehren Kruger and Michael Bay (or even the producers of the movie; I can’t confirm which one come up with the Shane Dyson character but I believe it’s Kruger and Bay) make Shane Dyson older than Tessa (who’s played by Nicola Peltz). Is it because of Jack Reynor is hot? Is it because Kruger, Bay, and the producers thought that having an older boyfriend and teenage girl in the movie would be a good idea? Is it because they’re a fan of NASCAR? Or is it because they want to insert a debate of whether it’s okay for a teenager girl to have an older boy? Because that tension scene in an old gas station where Shane and Tessa blurted to Cade that they have secretly falling in love is…well…while it’s good to have Cade (ahem, Mark Wahlberg, since he played this useless character) bringing up a very good lesson for a teenage girl not dating someone older, this scene should NEVER inserted in the film at all. (Because there’s no such thing as Romeo and Juliet laws)

Obviously Ehren Kruger and Michael Bay is trying to bring romance again with this movie. You know I have a question, although (once again) I’m not a fan of the Transformers franchise (includes all of the toys and the TV cartoons that are based on it) and the action genre, why can’t Kruger and Bay just focus on Mark Wahlberg alone with only a full adult-cast in it? That way it wouldn't be another teenage movie – or as matter of fact, a teenage boys’ movie.

So basically in order to have broad appeal (apparently appealing it to all audience no matter how appropriate it is), you gotta have an average teenage boy or a very average young man to be a protagonist or the main character. Why can’t Hasbro or Paramount think of something else with the Transformers movies? I mean the G.I. Joe movies….I’m might talk about it next year.

So there you have it. Cade Yeager and Shane Dyson are the main characters that waste the film. I would gave this movie an F. F for Failure!

Luckily Michael Bay is finally moving on after initially rejected directing this movie. Let’s repeat that: Michael Bay initially rejected directing this movie. And let’s hope that Ehren Kruger will either do a very much better job screenwriting or get a pink slip. Also I didn't even mention his name in this post, but I believe Steven Spielberg (who’s actually the executive producer) doesn't
pay attention on the male characters.

Cade Yeager: A Man Who's Not Smart in "Age of Extinction"

Alright let’s talk about “Transformers: Age of Extinction” The most stupidest movie of all. It has lazy writing, lazy film-making, and probably many ways of errors. But since this site is about the treatment and portrayals of boys (and men) in the media, I’m only g
oing to be talking about Cade Yeager and Shane Dyson

Let’s talk about Mark Wahlberg’s character, Cade Yeager. He is a struggling inventor from Texas….who doesn’t take a piss from people who wanted to buy his house…(For some reason, the screenwriter, Ehren Kruger, obviously doesn't know that the retailer didn't put the leaser’s house for sale until the leaser is unable to pay the rent)…who often gets in trouble.

Obviously, Ehren Kruger (once again the screenwriter) wants Cade Yeager to do be a jerk a**.

Actually while he wrote the screenplay, it wasn't Kruger’s idea of a father-and-daughter story. It was stupid director Michael Bay’s idea because for some reason he wanted Mark Wahlberg to join in a new Transformers movie.

While Cade Yeager (once again Mark Wahlberg’s character) might be a weapon guy shooting the aliens, Ehren Kruger the writer obviously doesn't want him to be a good man. For some reason, Kruger wants Cade to be annoying. Like in the battle scene in Chicago where Cade angrily opens a Bud Light bear at a glasses-wearing man

As Jeremy from CinemaSins said as he goes through the sins of the 2-part video, Cade Yeager “is a total asshole” and “MORE USELESS THAN SAM WitWicky

Look at the picture above, I believe Cade can’t do crap. His house is latter destroyed by Lockdown and now he has to travel with his daughter Tessa and her boyfriend Shane. And Ehren Kruger the screenwriter wants Cade to engage in arguments with Shane, mainly over her daughter. (More on that on my next post)

In the first Optimus Prime vs. Lockdown fight scene, Cade fails to rescue her daughter (He told her to run to the field instead of toward him) so that the movie can center him and Shane as heroes so that the movie can attract teenage boys and young men as part of a broad appeal. Because well. *pause* it’s the media. The media inaccurately knows what boys want to see. (And when I say inaccurately, I mean the media executives and the produces use research that I believe it’s dated) The media uses the “Dismiss in Distress” trope (which I first heard this year since I never heard of those tropes before until I started to discover more of tvtropes.org.).

Oh, when he tries to apologize to Optimus Prime, he makes the laziest speech ever of him turning Optimus Prime for the money, which he said it’s a mistake.

So there you have it: Cade Yeager is a stupid man created by Michael Bay and Ehren Kruger.

I’m going to be talking about Shane Dyson, Jack’s Reynor’s character in another post.

This Site is Going To Be About Boys in the Media (for now)

*sighed*

Okay, I'm going to be talking about boys - and maybe men in general - in movies and probably television shows. Because I'm REALLY having a HARD TIME relating to the male characters. In fact I DON'T EVEN watch them...AT ALL! The male characters are portrayed as either a butt monkey, a womanizer who attracts or attempts to attracts girls, or a very brave person who willing to man stuff (one example: save the world).

*shaking my head in disbelief*

Now I'm NOT a fan of the superhero genre. I'm not a fan of the action genre. And I'm not a video gamer either (since early 2008). Yes, I sometimes watch comedy. No, I don't watch comedy movies. The "comedies" that I watch are primarily personal videos and sometimes rants about movies. I used to watch Disney Channel and, later, Nickelodeon when I was a middle schooler. But now as I started to feel a lack of interest*, I started to feel more combative against them.

Also, I do like girls...and women. But for some reason** I'm not really in the mode for chasing them or attempting to be a ladies' man. Do I want a girlfriend? I don't know. Maybe I do, maybe I don't.

So there you go, I'm going to be running this site everyday, talking about why boys portrayed in the media. Therefore, the ebook that I'm currently working on which is almost 200 pages, "The Carmine Case" will be delayed to an unspecific date on 2015, because I also have classes to go to and I have coursework to do.

Tomorrow I'm going to be talking about the WORST MOVIE OF THE YEAR OF 2014: Transformers: Age of Extinction.

For updates, follow me on twitter at: http://twitter.com/franokuski. My Tumblr isn't set up yet and I don't have the ability to create accounts at other social media sites.

*I actually kinda interesting in watching new shows like "Austin & Ally", "Ant Farm", and "Mighty Med". But I would rather prefer watching them alone, whether I had a TV or purchasing iTunes episodes.

**I'm not your typical guy. I'm not interesting in sex,

Writing as I'm saying is complicated

Okay so several days ago, I record four audio files - for "The Carmine Case" - so that I can not only type what I''m saying but also type faster.

Unfortunately, since I'm socially awkward, I'm also awkward in telling stories out load. So I figured I could edit the audio through Movie Maker, which is the only free movie software instead on my laptop; I couldn't afford to buy any professional movie editing (or sound editing in this case) software.

Turns out that Windows Movie Maker only edits videos, not audio! I try to insert a picture and try to stretch the duration so that i can listen to the audio. After a minute typing the words out of the audio, I feel like this doesn't work.

So as a result, I would stick to writing what I'm thinking of.

Anyway, "The Carmine Case" will be release as an e-novel this November. (No exact date; but I may be finished by November 14th)

Hello

Hello and welcome to my site.

I'm a writer since 2006 and I'm probably going to publish my first e-novel, the mystery novel "The Carmine Case". Now originally I was going to publish it on Scribd, but I decided to give Amazon a try.

That's all I have to say. Thank you for visiting my site

"The Carmine Case" available this November.
